Zuri Berry is a digital producer for The Baltimore Banner. Before The Banner, he served as a radio editor in Washington D.C. and Charlotte, North Carolina, and as deputy managing editor for news and multimedia at the Boston Herald. He’s also worked as a web content manager for FOX 25 Boston, as a content producer for The Boston Globe’s Boston.com, and as a staff writer and online community manager for The Union in Grass Valley, California. He is originally from San Francisco and holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from California State University, Chico, and a master’s in business administration from Queens University of Charlotte. Zuri is also the owner and principal producer of ZMC Podcasts, a podcast development and audio production company, where he works with clients worldwide to support their podcasting efforts. When he’s not working, podcasting, or writing, he’s playing FIFA soccer with his son Jalil, discussing the differences between colossal squids and octopuses with his son Landon, trying desperately to soothe his baby girl Aaliyah, and testing his dad jokes on his wife, Claudia.
